This session is designed to give you space to slow down, reconnect with your body, and gently support your baby’s journey into the best position for birth. Using a blend of birth biomechanics, gentle movement, aromatherapy, and deep relaxation, we work with your body rather than against it. These techniques help create balance in the pelvis and surrounding muscles, encouraging comfort in late pregnancy and supporting your baby to settle into an optimal position for labour. Many women come to this session wanting to feel less pressure, more ease in their body, and a sense of calm as birth approaches. Together we’ll explore simple, effective movements and positions you can use in the final weeks and early labour to help your body stay open, relaxed, and ready for birth. The session also includes guided relaxation and carefully selected aromatherapy to help you release tension, soften into the final stretch of pregnancy, and leave feeling calmer and more grounded. Women leave feeling: lighter and more comfortable in their body reassured about their baby’s positioning more relaxed and emotionally prepared for labour equipped with practical tools they can use at home Delivered by an experienced birth doula, this session is not clinical or rushed. It’s a supportive, nurturing space where you can pause, breathe, and prepare your body for the work of birth. This session can only be booked from 37 weeks gestation as evidence shows it can promote the start of labour. I have supported many women to encourage a spontaneous start to labour whilst waiting for induction.
