Cancellation Policy

1. Scope of Services As your postnatal doula, I provide emotional, physical, and informational support to ease your transition into parenthood. My services include: Creating a Safe Space: Ensuring a supportive, non-judgmental environment for you, your partner, and your baby. Discussing Concerns: Listening and guiding you to make parenting choices without external pressure. Nurturing and Caring: Allowing you time to rest while I care for your baby. Newborn Care Guidance: Assisting with handling, bathing, burping, calming techniques, sleep patterns, and development. Feeding Support: Supporting breastfeeding and bottle-feeding. Household Assistance: Helping with light tasks like laundry (excluding ironing), grocery shopping, and errands. Accompanying You: Attending appointments or shopping trips with you and your baby. Supporting Older Siblings: Helping siblings adjust to their new role. Holiday Support: Offering assistance during seasonal holidays as needed. 2. Limitations of Services As a postnatal doula, my role is non-medical. I do not provide: Medical or clinical care for you or your baby Diagnosis or treatment of medical conditions Heavy housework or deep cleaning Overnight childcare (unless separately agreed) Financial, legal, or medical advice If medical attention is required, I will recommend seeking professional healthcare assistance. 3. Scheduling and Availability Services are by appointment and agreed upon in advance. A minimum number of 3 hours per session does apply. Holiday support is subject to availability and may incur additional fees. 4. Fees and Payment Fees are outlined in a separate invoice and payable in advance unless otherwise agreed. Payments are accepted via bank transfer or another agreed method. 5. Cancellation Policy At least 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations within 48 hours incur a 50% session fee. If I must cancel, I will offer an alternative date or a full refund. 6. Sickness Policy Inform me immediately if you, your baby, or household members have a contagious illness. Sessions may be rescheduled without penalty in such cases. If I am unwell, I will notify you and reschedule accordingly. 7. Confidentiality All personal information shared remains strictly confidential unless disclosure is required by law. 8. Agreement By engaging my postnatal doula services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
